On March 14th, 1879 ֶa baby boy by the name of Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany.
From a very early age, Einstein showed extreme interest in math and physics, reaching a mathematical level years ahead of his peers. At 12 years of age, young, Einstein taught himself algebra and Euclidean geometry over a single summer.
His passion for algebra and geometry led the 12-year-old to become convinced that nature could be understood as a "mathematical structure". Einstein started teaching himself calculus at 12, and as a 14-year-old he had mastered integral and differential calculus.
At 17, he enrolled in a four-year mathematics and physics teaching program, by 29, he was already recognized as a leading scientist, and at the age of 42 he received the Nobel prize for physics.
While nobody can dispute that Einstein was born with above average intelligence, it was his passion and perseverance that had created the mythological persona synonymous with knowledge and science we associate with him today.
Throughout his life, he conducted tens of thousands of scientific experiments where the majority resulted in failure. He used to have a famous saying: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Simply put, Einstein had a Growth Mindset before the term was even coined. He understood that failures and obstacles are the path to success. And if you want to change the result you have to change the way you go about it first.
Remember, there are many individuals with above average intelligence who don’t accomplish much in their life. The difference between them and Albert Einstein is they either: lack passion, perseverance or both. Without these 2 crucial components an individual will never achieve their full potential.
Therefore, Einstein=Passion+Perseverance Or E=P1+P2
